HumidAIR is packaged unit designed to maintain humidity at acceptable levels in extreme environments such as swimming pools, aquatic centers, or industrial drying applications. Its refrigeration circuit works by cooling air to remove humidity, then re-heating it to the desired condition. The unit also features a return fan to control exhaust and outdoor air for ventilation purposes. Standard features include a full stainless steel construction for harsh environments that may contain chlorine or other contaminants. Coil coatings are also available. HumidAIR features an optional secondary refrigeration circuit that extracts heat from the exhaust air stream, using it to heat water for swimming pools or domestic hot water. Because of this, HumidAIR can drastically reduce energy consumption while simultaneously improving indoor air quality through humidity control.
